Bosnia is a country with many rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Herzegovina is named after the ancient ruler of Herzeg Stjepan. In Bosnia live together three main ethnic groups: Bosnians, Serbs and Croats. In the year 1984 Bosnia was the country of the Sarajevo Olympics. Bosnians enjoy drinking coffee very much – it’s a social ritual still now days.

Sarajevo

Sarajevo is the cultural and political capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Natural and historical heritage is certainly among the most fascinating in all of the Balkans. It is here that the great eastern and western powers met and left their influences in this largely unknown corner of the world. Region is one of the most mountainous in the country, lending to its isolation yet creating a warm, welcoming feeling in the small communities in and around the capital Sarajevo.
