DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN VIENNA

Welcome to Austria and its historical capital, Vienna. Meet with your tour director and get to know the details of your tour!

DAY 2
VIENNA

Begin your day with a guided tour of Vienna, the capital city, where you will explore the iconic Ringstrasse, a circular road encircling the historic Innere Stadt district. Visit notable landmarks such as the Hofburg Palace, renowned for its Spanish Riding School, as well as the Parliament, City Hall, Palace Urania, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral along the famous Graben Street. Of course, the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace will be a highlight of the visit. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to indulge in shopping or savor the world-famous Sacher cake at one of the delightful coffee shops in the city center.

DAY 3
MELK – LINZ – SALZBURG

Leave the royal capital behind you and drive towards Salzburg. Your first stop will be the famous Melk Monastery, a Benedictine abbey that contains the tomb of Saint Coloman of Stockerau and the remains of several members of the House of Babenberg, Austria’s first ruling dynasty. Continue to Linz, the third biggest city in Austria and the capital of the Upper Austria region. Enjoy lunch and a walking tour of this constantly changing and developing city. Arrival in Salzburg in the late afternoon, check-in, and free time.

DAY 4
SALZBURG

Begin with a guided tour of the city that will include views of the Residence, the Carillon, the Cathedral, the Franciscan Church, Mozart Square, and city locations from “The Sound of Music,” such as Mirabell Gardens and Nonnberg Abbey. The afternoon will be free for individual exploration and shopping.

DAY 5
SWAROWSKI SALTMINE – INNSBRUCK

In the morning, depart for Innsbruck, but before arriving there, you will stop to visit the famous Swarovski Crystal Museum. Crystal Worlds was opened in 1995 to mark the centennial anniversary of the company’s founding, and artist André Heller designed this unique and magical place. This beloved attraction has brought moments of wonder to over fifteen million visitors from around the world. Overwhelmed and almost blinded by the shining crystals, you will continue to the center of Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, to admire the medieval buildings. Take a look at the famous Golden Roof, St. Jacob’s Cathedral, and the Hofburg Imperial Palace. Accommodation will be provided in a hotel, and you’ll have free time.

DAY 6
BOLZAN – GARDA LAKE

Leave Slovenia behind and drive to Italy and Dolomiti region. On your way you will pass also Austrian Alps, before entering famous Sud Tirol region. Pass by Merano and admire the typical Tirolese architecture. Stop in Bolzano, historical and medieval capital of Alto Adige region. Visit magnificent with gothic and romantic elements and stop for lunch. In the late afternoon accommodation in Garda Lake area, free time and overnight.

DAY 7
GARDA LAKE

Take advantage of your free time to relish the renowned Riva del Garda, situated by the picturesque Lake Garda. Delight in the sandy shores of the lake or explore the wealth of entertainment options available in the vicinity. You can opt to visit one of the many nearby amusement parks like Gardaland, Aquasplash, or Zoo Safari, offering endless excitement and fun for all ages. Whether you choose to relax by the lakeside or embark on thrilling adventures, Riva del Garda promises an enjoyable and memorable experience during your leisure time.

DAY 8
VERONA – VENICE

Check out from hotel on Garda Lake and drive to Adriatic. On your way you will stop in romantic Verona, a town of romantic story about Romeo and Juliet protected also by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guided tour of the city will take you to the lovely square Piazza delle Erbe, Roman amphitheatre, Juliet’s house, and other historical sites. Some free time for lunch and exploring Verona on your own. Later, drive to Venice area. Arrival in late afternoon, accommodation, free time.

DAY 9
VENICE

Welcome to the most romantic city in the world, Venice. Embark the taxi boat and take a guided tour of the Venice city. Your tour will take you around St. Marco’s Square to see Basilica with famous mosaics and its bell tower, Astrological tower, the Doge’s palace – residence of Doges, cross the Rialto bridge and listen to the stories of famous Venetians. Free afternoon to enjoy city on yourself, find true souvenirs from Murano glass, and have a coffee on Str Marco’s square. In the evening return to hotel for overnight.

DAY 10
VENICE – TRIESTE – LJUBLJANA

Bid goodbye to Venice and drive towards Slovenia. On the way, make a stop in Trieste, Italy’s most cosmopolitan city. The glorious Habsburgs dubbed it “the little Vienna on the sea,” and in its characteristic mixture of languages, people, and religions, one can easily sense its combined Central European and Mediterranean spirits. After a guided tour of Piazza Unità, explore the monumental palazzi, the Greek Orthodox Church of San Nicolò on the Trieste Canal Grande (Grand Canal), and the neighborhood center built at the behest of Maria Theresa of Austria. Enjoy lunch in a traditional trattoria before continuing the drive to Ljubljana. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon, followed by accommodation and an overnight stay.

DAY 11
LJUBLJANA

Start your day with a visit to the beloved Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. Your guide will take you around and show you the most important attractions, such as Preseren’s Square, the Triple Bridge, the fish market, the town hall, and many others. To wrap up the whole story of Ljubljana, you will also take a funicular up to the castle hill to learn more about Ljubljana and Slovenia’s history, and of course, admire the amazing view from the top. Enjoy lunch, and in the afternoon, you will have free time at leisure to explore the city on your own. In the evening, join your group for a farewell dinner where you can talk about the most memorable moments of the tour and plan for new ones.

DAY 12
