After lunch, the scenic road will take you to blue Adriatic coastline. DAY 14: ISTRIA TOUR B, T Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea. DAY 15: PREDJAMA CASTLE – POSTOJNA CAVE – JULIAN ALPS B , L Saying goodbye to seaside, your adventure will continue to the underworld, more exactly Karst underworld. Your fist stops - Predjama , amazing Renaissance fortress, built within a cave, is not at all the kind of castle you are familiar with. Enter the queen of caves – Postojna cave , the only cave in the world with a train in it. The cave offers a unique experience of the underworld . Lunch and in the afternoon continue to Julian Alps region and enjoy your free time in pristine nature. DAY 16: BLED AND BOHINJ B, L, D Time for Alpine fairy tale! With immense natural beauty , Bled, together with its surroundings and magnificent lake with an island, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts of the world. Amazing castle on the cliff is offering stunning views of the region, while island in the middle of the lake can be visited with traditional boat called “pletna”. Later on, continue to the largest alpine lake in Slovenia – lake Bohinj. You will take a funicular to Mt Vogel top , where your breath will be taken away by unforgettable views of Triglav National Park. Lunch and some free time to admire its natural beauty and relax on the lake shore.
