28 DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO LJUBLJANA Welcome to green heart of Europe. Meet with your tour director, and transfer to Ljubljana. Check in hotel and overnight in Ljubljana. DAY 2: LJUBALJANA B Start your day with romantic visit of beloved Slo- venian capital, Ljubljana. Your guide will take you around and show you most important attractions, such as Presens’ square, Triple bridge, fish mar- ket, town hall and many others. To wrap up the whole Ljubljana story, you will also take funicular up to the castle hill, to learn more about Ljublja- na and Slovenia’s history and of course admire amazing view from the top. Afternoon will be free at leisure to enjoy this beloved city on your own. Overnight in Ljubljana. DAY 3: BLED & TRIGLAV NP B Time for Alpine fairy-tale! With immense natural beauty, Bled, together with its surroundings and magnificent lake with an island, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts of the world. Amaz- ing castle on the cliff is offering stunning views of the region, while island in the middle of the lake can be visited with traditional boat called “pletna”. Free time for lunch, continue to the largest alpine lake in Slovenia – lake Bohinj. You will take a fu- nicular to Mt Vogel top, where your breath will be taken away by unforgettable views of Triglav NP. Some free time to admire its natural beauty and relax on the lake shore. In the afternoon return to hotel and enjoy free time in Alpine world. Over- night in Ljubljana. DAY 4: POSTOJNA CAVE – ZAGREB B Discover the magical underworld of Slovenia and enter the queen of caves – Postojna cave, the only cave in the world with a train in it. The cave offers a unique experience of the underworld and will ab- solutely leave you speechless. Some free time for lunch and then drive to Zagreb, impressive capital of Croatia. Upon arrival guided walking tour of its historical capital Zagreb composed of the Gornji Grad and Kaptol, will show medieval urban com- plex of churches, palaces, museums, galleries and government buildings popular sightseeing spots of the city. Rest the of the day will be free at lei- sure. Overnight in Zagreb. DAY 5: PLTIVICE – SPLIT (embarking) B, L, D One of the most photogenic natural parks is wait- ing for you! Daily trip to Plitvice national park will absolutely take your breath away! With its excep- tional natural beauty, this area has always attract- ed nature lovers, and already on 8 April 1949, it was proclaimed Croatia’s first national park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site is considered one of the most spectacular natural phenomena with 16 emerald-turquoise lakes that are connected to each other by a fabulous system of waterfalls. Free time in afternoon to enjoy pristine nature. In the late afternoon arrive to Split. Stroll the streets and learn many interesting facts that make this unique town’s history full of intrigue. Take part of the sto- ry of this more than 1700-year-old town, founded by the Roman emperor Diocletian who chose this beautiful place as his retirement residence. After the tour, embark the ship and start with cruise ad- venture. Welcome dinner aboard the ship and your cruise manager will introduce you to the entire crew. DAY 6: SPLIT-BOL – STARI GRAD (B, L) Early in the morning, while breakfast is served, we set sail for the island of Brač. Before lunch on board, you will have time to enjoy a swim stop at the worldfamous Zlatni Rat beach. After the swim stop, we continue on our way towards the town of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, where we arrive in the early hours of the afternoon. After arrival, you will have some free time to enjoy Stari Grad at your own pace. Later in the afternoon we will visit the UNESCO protected Stari Grad Plain, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sun- set, local wine and traditional “peka” dinner of the Hora estate, surrounded by olive groves and fields of lavender. Overnight in Stari Grad. DAY 7: STARI GRAD - VIS B, L Early in the morning, while breakfast is served, we set sail for the island of Vis. With lunch served on board, we will enjoy a swim stop at the Paklinski Islands. The island of Vis, formerly a major naval base, was closed to tourists from 1945 until the breakup of Yugoslavia in the 90’s, which helped preserve the authentic appearance of its villages. We will arrive in Vis in the afternoon and you will be free to explore the Discover Slovenia, the green heart of Europe, visit famous national park Plitvice lakes and enjoy a deluxe cruise on Adriatic sea green heart of europe and blue pearl of adriatic (LAND & SEA) 12 DAYS/ 11 NIGHTS
