Crossing over the Mura region, the road will take you down south, closer to River Drava, ar- riving in little town called Jeruzalem. This region is called Podravje and is home to one of the best wineries in Slovenia. Here you will learn all about their wine process and product with a tour of the estate and degustation of wine and local products in traditional cottage “zidanica”. It will be hard, but we recommend to leave a little space in your stomacs as you continue to a local pumpkin oil production for some more taste of Pomurje. Lat- er on, you will head to Lendava for a walking tour of town and lunch, where you will try traditional bograc and Prekmurska gibanica. Return to hotel in the afternoon and free time to relax. DAY 9: BALATON LAKE - BUDAPEST B, L Check out from hotel and drive to Budapest, cap- ital city of Hungary, imperial country that used to be a part of Austro – Hungarian empire. On your way, stop at Europe’s largest freshwater lake – Balaton. Visit Tihany peninsula and enjoy some free time by the lake. Arrival to Budapest in the late afternoon. Check in hotel, free time and over- night. 4 OPTIONAL: Danube cruise dinner with concert on board DAY 10: BUDAPEST B, D After breakfast you will taste the spirit of the cap- ital city of Hungary dividend on the banks of Dan- ube river.
