18 DAY 1: ARRIVAL ZAGREB Welcome to Croatia’s capital! Meet with your tour director to get all the information about the tour. DAY 2: ZAGREB B Start your day with guided walking tour of its historical capital Zagreb composed of the Gornji Grad and Kaptol, will show medieval urban com- plex of churches, palaces, museums, galleries and government buildings popular sightseeing spots of the city. Free afternoon to enjoy and discover city on your own. DAY 3: ZAGREB – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE B, L Check out from hotel and drive to Serbia. On the way stop and visit Novi sad for lunch and short city tour. Pass by famous Petrovardin fortress on Dan- ube river, Church of Mary’s Name, the architectur- al beauties of Liberty Square, Zmaj Jovina Street, Orthodox Cathedral, the Bishop’s Palace. In the late afternoon arrival to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Free time to explore the city and overnight. DAY 4: BELGRADE B Discover the Serbian capital with a sightseeing tour in the morning. The tour will guide us to the through elite city district Dedinje unusual building TV Pink. You will take the road through the famous markets such as the Republic Square with the Par- liament, Terazije and Slavia, along the main streets of Belgrade, Knez Mihailova and finish on the Kale- megdan fortress in Belgrade, from where we can admire wonderful views of the city and the conflu- ence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Free time in Belgrade in the afternoon. 4 OPTIONAL: Cruise on Danube river DAY 5: NIS – SKOPJE B, L Departure from hotel in the morning and drive to Skopje. On your way you will stop in Nis, one of the oldest cities in the Balkans and Europe and has from ancient times been considered a gate- way between the East and West. After turbulent history Niš became one of the most important in- dustrial centers in Serbia, a center of electronics and mechanical engineering, textile and tobacco industry. Arrival to Skopje in the late afternoon. Accommodation in hotel, free time. DAY 6: SKOPJE – OHRID B, L Enjoy the Macedonian capital Skopje in the morn- ing and begin with some sightseeing: the stone bridge, the church of St. Spas, the Kale fortress, a mosque and similar. You will also walk through the picturesque old bazaar and enjoy the atmosphere. In the afternoon drive to stunning lake of Ohrid. Accommodation by the lake and free time. DAY 7: OHRID – TIRANA B, L The town of Ohrid was also known as town of 365 churches (one for each day of the year) and was considered as second Jerusalem. Even with only 70 churches left, UNESCO listed it under its her- itage site as one of the oldest and most complete architectural ensembles on the southeastern part of Europe. After the sightseeing tour, continue to Albania to visit its capital Tirana, also Albania’s largest city. You will visit the Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, the Palace of Culture and the monu- ment to Mother Albania. DAY 8: SKADAR LAKE – PODGORICA B, L Drive to Montenegro. On the way stop to visit and admire Skadar Lake, the last habitat of pelicans and the largest bird preservation park in Europe. In the afternoon reach Podgorica. Short guided walk through city center will reveal colourful his- tory of the city through Doganjka Moswue, Repub- lic square, Milleniem Bridge, Vysotsky monument, Cathedral of Resurrection of Christ, King Nikola’s castle and tower clock from the 17th centure. Later on, continue to Kotor, which is located along one of Montenegro’s most beauti- ful bays and it is listed on UNESCO World Heritage list. Final stop before crossing back to Croatia, will be small hidden pearl – Perast.
