Free time in Ljubljana DAY 2: LJUBLJANA B Start your day with visit of colorful capital, Ljublja- na. Your guide will take you around and show you the most important attractions, such as Preser- en’s square, Triple bridge, fish market, town hall and many others. To wrap up the whole Ljubljana story, you will also take funicular up to the castle hill, to learn more about Ljubljana and Slovenia’s history and of course admire amazing view from the top. Afternoon will be free at leisure, to enjoy city on your own. 4 OPTIONAL: Slovenian folklore dinner DAY 3: MARIBOR AND PTUJ B, T Drive to Maribor and beginning with sightseeing of Maribor, second biggest city in Slovenia, known as the city with the oldest grapevine in the world which counts more than 400 years. The guide will take you through the old town by the river, where you will stop in one of restaurants for lunch. Some free time and then continue to Ptuj, the oldest city in Slovenia. It was the Romans who left a very strong mark here, with their gravestones, tem- ples and roads and back then the city was known as Petovio. Later on, drive back to Ljubljana and overnight.
